COURSE GOALS
There are nearly 35 million Americans who are over the age of sixty-five. These individuals are in need of consultants who can help them lead productive lives by expertly managing their medication needs.
Should you attend? This course provides an excellent opportunity for pharmacists to enhance their awareness and knowledge and stay abreast of advances impacting their geriatric care practice. Time is built into the curriculum for practitioners to interact with our guest faculty and experts.
The overall educational objective of this symposium is to help consultant pharmacists plus those that are interested in becoming consultant pharmacists prepare for the challenges that occur when caring for older adults.
This symposium can be utilized by those pharmacists interested in becoming certified consultant pharmacists and preparing for the CCP exam.
The CCP exam is administered separately by the Joint Board for Certification of Consultant Pharmacists. The examination will be administered at 8AM on March 17, 2012 at Rutgers University Ernest Mario College of Pharmacy where the course is being conducted. The application is available at www.njccp.org The fee is $100
